Seen near Hannover, Germany. Not really into graffiti, but this made me smile.

More ‘art’ randomly in the streets in Germany, seen in Hameln. Just next to this building actually!

For Miles..

A German Döner on a plate.

Ha. :P

“Das Glück liegt nicht im Ziel, sondern im Weg dorthin.” – “Happiness is not in the destination, but the journey.” I’m not sure if it is one of those phrases that I agree with, but it does seem rather odd writing it across a building. Seen in Hameln, Germany.

I had to look several times before I realised what was going on there, definitely a way to get people to look at the window! Seen in Hameln, Germany.

Seen near Hannover airport just outside the Maritim hotel. Germany has a thing with random ‘art’ in places, but what does it mean?!

So.. one of my flights today was covered by Transavia. Yeah, I had never heard of them either.. They were pretty unreliable with the crew turning up 15 mins AFTER the plane was meant to depart. And they have the worst uniforms I’ve ever seen and the seats, well the have got to be seen to be believed. They have about 30 different, horrible patterns across the plane!

I’m currently in a Yotel for the night which is basically the most compact room I’ve ever seen. And I’ve been on a ship crossing the channel overnight! The room is tiny, but has everything and is extremely well thought out. Taking a shower for example doesn’t heat up the whole room despite the shower taking up 1/3 of the room.  Another nice feature are the three differently coloured lights across the room that create a different atmosphere depending on the combination. Oh, when I say room, I of course mean storage cupboard! The only thing I can’t figure out is how to turn down the volume on the TV. The remote [see picture] does not have a frigging volume thing and I’ve pressed all the buttons!

There’s a lot of snow and it’s still snowing after a few hours.. The trees can barely cope with all the heavy snow on the branches.  Isn’t this spring? Warm weather, daffodils and lying in the sunshine?

It’s April the 6th, it’s the south of the UK and it’s snowing.
